ASDA are now owned by WalMart, the largest retailer in the world. By working within the business aim of 'Everyday Low Prices' ASDA have become the UK's second largest food retailer. The future success and sustainability of the business depends upon a continuous programme of new store development and refurbishment, and central to this is achieving successful planning permissions. Our role acting as communication consultants, was to advise and help to deliver this programme of development. Aimed at local authorities and the public, our work involved comprehensive public consultation programmes, including local research, working with a team of industry leading consultants, to create brochure and exhibition materials, mailshots, and in fact the first ever online consultation tool that ASDA used to help gain the successful planning permission for the largest ASDA in Europe. With numerous successes for both the ASDA and George brand, we are proud of our achievements with helping this national client succeed.
